Our mission is to develop and produce high quality, entertaining independent film projects budgeted under $10 million for theatrical domestic and foreign distribution. We are a full service production company from script writing to post production supervision.
Whatever Entertainment Company Bio
Whatever Entertainment is a limited liability company formed as an independent film production company based in Los Angeles, CA. Whatever Entertainment was founded in May 2002 by writer/director W. Scott Peake. Whatever Entertainment develops and produces high quality filmed entertainment. Producer Diane Clemenhagen became the second managing partner in 2004.
Whatever Entertainment’s first project was to develop and produce a feature film adaptation of Geoff Nicholson’s novel "What We Did On Our Holidays". W. Scott Peake penned the screenplay and directed the British dark comedy now titled PERMANENT VACATION starring Frank Harper (Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Gina Bellman (Coupling), Michael Bowen (Magnolia, Kill Bill 1), and David Carradine (Kung Fu, Kill Bill1 and 2).
PERMANENT VACATION won the Jury Award at the Pensacola Film Festival, won the Best Actor Award (Frank Harper) at the SoCAL Indie Film Festival and was a Selection at the Denver Film Festival Festivus and the Garden State Film Festival. PERMANENT VACATION is in the sales process.
Whatever Entertainment has several projects in development including the teen comedy, The Stringman Incident, the mystery thriller, Karolina, and the wild western, Hell or High Water. Two other projects a turn of the century comedy, Karma Killers and a touching drama, Girls and Gangs are on the slate as future productions.

W. Scott Peake
Scott’s first project with his company Whatever Entertainment was developing a feature film adaptation of Geoff Nicholson’s novel "What We Did On Our Holidays". W. Scott Peake penned the screenplay and directed the British dark comedy called PERMANENT VACATION.
W. Scott Peake received his Masters in Fine Arts from the Florida State University Film School in 1993. Upon graduation Scott was the first intern at the advertising agency W. B. Doner’s history to be offered a full time job as a Producer. While at Doner Scott’s spot, “Zoo Cruise, ” went on to win several awards, including a Clio and was named one of Ad Ages’ “100 Best” in 1996. At BBDO/Detroit, Scott became very knowledgeable in special effects and post-production while working on the Dodge campaigns. While building his directing reel, Scott freelanced at Ogilvy and Mather/ Detroit and Chiat/Day.
Currently Scott is developing The Stringman Incident and Karolina two optioned scripts and Hell or High Water, set in the Wild West, which he is writing. Scott is actively involved in Film Independent and Film Specific.
